How has sales changed? What is need to be successful in sales today? Listen to Jim Pancero on the podcast, Your Intended Message. https://youtube.com/shorts/J1cAqBIg4s8 ----- Just amazed how many salespeople have gone into sales. And they had to stumble around to figure out what they were doing because nobody told them and nobody trained them. The only training people tend to get is on product skills, and on the computer system. So if you're a new sales rep to my company, whether I sell equipment or services or supplies, first thing I'm going to do is make sure you understand how to enter an order and how to track and how to use our CRM system and get comfortable with the computer skills. Then the second is we're going to teach you technically what our product does. And then third, we'll teach you how a customer benefits are, what how they use what you're doing, but we never really step back and talk about how to make all this work, how to gain more control, how to be more persuasive, especially in a brief amount of time. ----- Listen to this conversation with Jim Pancereo https://yourintendedmessage.com/episodes/selling-has-changed-have-you-adapted-jim-pancero-912 -----
