How to read your audience when you speak. Listen to this conversation with Neil Gordon I addressed the whole person on some level and marry both the intellectual and the emotional, then then they'll stay with us and, and it's kind of funny. When I present myself, I sometimes wonder, like, are they just like do they just hate me because they're just completely stoic and frozen. And then I realized based on the response afterwards that they weren't resenting me or or simmering with resume with like hate or anything. They were completely transfixed. They were like stone because they weren't moving because they were so captivated by what I was saying. And that's a very important thing to remember is that people want to be captivated. They want to be transfixed. They want to be convinced that change is possible. And that's the difference between a good enough speaker and an absolutely outstanding one.
